Wescobee receives 75 per cent of the commercial crop and of that they export up to 40 per cent of their intake. The larger volume is exported in retail packs. Wescobee is the cornerstone of the Western Australian industry. They supply approximately 80 per cent of the honey sold in supermarkets in WA.
Their main lines are blended honeys, but also sell straight line Jarrah and Red gum.
Wescobee Ltd was the first in Australia accredited with SQF - Safe Quality Food. Beekeepers train to a QA program and operate under legislaton disallowing the use of chemicals and repellants.
