Pollination Association of Western Australia (PAWA)

PAWA supplies beehives for pollination services to the fruit and vegetable growers of Western Australia and supplies information with regards to best practices for beekeepers to provide pollination services to horticultural and broadacre farmers.

Membership fees are AUD$35 per annum. PAWA conducts 3 monthly committee meetings and currently has 19 members.

The ethos of the WABA is mutual benefit through cooperation and the ultimate goal is sustainability and viability for the whole industry and all of its participants.

To work for the protection of the natural melliferous resource of the State and continuation of the beekeeping industry's access to them.

To encourage research and development relevant to apiculture, apiary production and the utilisation of apiary products.

Wescobee is the cornerstone of the Western Australian industry. They supply approximately 80 per cent of the honey sold in supermarkets in WA.

Their main lines are blended honeys, but also sell straight line Jarrah and Red gum.
